The Bel Air Hills Association (BAHA) will hold its annual Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 18, at Roscomare Circle Park.
The free gathering runs from 3 to 5 p.m. at the park, located at the south end of Roscomare Road. All Bel Air Hills residents are welcome regardless of BAHA membership, according to the association's September announcement.
The event is free.
BAHA said additional details will appear in the October edition of its newsletter, Newsbites. Specific activities and refreshments for the 2026 festival have not yet been announced.
The festival has been a neighborhood tradition since 2018, when the all-volunteer association hosted its inaugural edition at the same park. That first gathering featured cookies, apple cider and Halloween-themed decorations, drawing families with young children to the south end of Roscomare Road for an October afternoon outdoors.
Past editions have drawn young families for treats and arts-and-crafts tables, and attendees have had the option to come in costume. The 2023 announcement described the event as open to residents "young or young-at-heart."
At the October 2024 festival, BAHA member Laila Hussein provided supplies and led arts-and-crafts tables for children. Fellow member Charlie McAndrew set up large inflatable figures and other decorations. The 2021 edition featured cookies from Joanie and Leigh's Bakery and take-home goodie bags for children.
BAHA, formerly the Roscomare Valley Association, was established in 1952 as an all-volunteer organization serving the Bel Air Hills neighborhood. The association relies entirely on volunteer labor to organize the festival and other community programming.
