Beverly Hills families looking for gymnastics training have three camp sessions to choose from at Beverly Hills Gymnastics Center on West Olympic Boulevard.

The center's fall camp, which began Sept. 11, runs through Oct. 2. A Thanksgiving break camp follows Nov. 23–25 and Nov. 27, and a winter camp runs Dec. 18 through Jan. 8, 2027, according to the center's website. All sessions run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and are open to children ages 3 to 12. The Thanksgiving camp is closed Nov. 26 for the holiday.

Campers train on floor, balance beam and bars, with programming that also includes a rhythmic gymnastics track and a special needs gymnastics camp, the Beverly Press reported Sept. 24. The camps welcome children of all skill levels.

Tanya Berenson, a former Junior Olympian who founded the center, leads the program. Berenson has more than two decades of professional gymnastics experience and has served as a consultant to USA Gymnastics and as head coach of the USA team at the 2018 Maccabi World Games, according to the center's staff page. She holds a Bachelor of Education in early childhood development from UCLA.

Before opening the Beverly Hills center, Berenson developed and managed a gymnastics facility that trained two Olympians and 22 USA national champions, including a qualifier for the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games, she said in an October 2024 Voyage LA profile.

"My most pivotal career moment was the opening of the Beverly Hills Gymnastics Center … I am honored to contribute back and provide a high caliber experience in one of the most famous cities on earth," Berenson said in that profile.

The center describes itself as the first gymnastics center in Beverly Hills. Its recreational classes follow USA Gymnastics guidelines.

Berenson plans to position the center at the forefront of local gymnastics excitement ahead of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, the Beverly Press reported. Artistic gymnastics events in 2028 will be held at DTLA Arena in downtown Los Angeles.
