The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts is casting two roles in a world-premiere play opening this fall, and Equity actors can audition on Monday, Aug. 24, right at the Beverly Hills venue.

RADIO GALAXY, written by Michèle Aldin Kushner and directed by Kimberly Senior, follows Tino, a 17-year-old from a working-class New Jersey town who dreams of becoming an astronomer. When he discovers he has a half-sister who needs a life-saving bone marrow transplant, he's pulled between his protective father, his own ambitions and a biological father who finally understands him, according to the Wallis's production page.

The production runs Nov. 6–22 in the Lovelace Studio Theater.

Who's already cast

Most of the ensemble is set. Joey McIntyre, Lesli Margherita, Callan Farris, Meera Simhan and Bernard White are confirmed. The Aug. 24 audition is seeking two remaining roles: Raju, a male American-born South Asian astrophysicist aged 40–56, and Abha, a girl legally 9 or older to play age 6, also South Asian.
