The Beverly Hills Farmers' Market will host a Holidays and Hanukkah Craft Fair on Sunday, Nov. 22, with artisan vendors selling jewelry, pottery, florals, candles, clothing and essential oils alongside the market's regular farmers and food sellers.
The craft fair runs during normal market hours, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the 9300 block of Civic Center Drive. Regular market vendors will also carry specialty holiday items, according to the city's event listing.
A Gingerbread House Contest will run alongside the shopping. The contest includes both adult and youth categories, with winners receiving a holiday gift basket.
The event falls about two weeks before Hanukkah, which begins at sundown on Friday, Dec. 4, and runs eight nights through Saturday, Dec. 12.
Second year for the craft fair
The Nov. 22 fair builds on an inaugural Holidays and Hanukkah Craft Fair held at the market on Dec. 14, 2025. A city Community Services Department memo by Recreation Supervisor Andrew Deleon recapped that first event. It drew 26 specialty vendors alongside 56 regular Farmers' Market vendors. Seven of those vendors offered Hanukkah-themed items.
The December 2025 gingerbread contest attracted three children's entries and eight adult entries. Houses were displayed for public viewing and voting throughout the day. Deleon's memo described the inaugural fair as an expansion of then-Mayor Nazarian's initiatives.
The Beverly Press reported in December 2025 that the gingerbread contest asked participants to build their houses at home and bring them to the market by 9 a.m. for judging. Prizes were awarded for first, second and third place, and entry was open to all ages.
