Friends of Greystone is opening the doors of Beverly Hills' Greystone Mansion for a self-guided public tour on Nov. 22.

Tickets cost $20 per person for the tour, which runs from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 905 Loma Vista Drive, according to the organization's calendar of events. Last entry is at 2:30 p.m.

The event, billed as "Tour the Best Kept Secret: Greystone Mansion," invites visitors inside the approximately 46,000-square-foot, 55-room mansion, where historic photographs illustrate life in 1928 and 1945.

Architect Gordon B. Kaufmann designed the mansion, which was built in 1927–1928. It served as the home of Edward Laurence Doheny Jr., his wife Lucy and their five children. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Children 13 and older are welcome. Tickets are non-refundable, and no physical tickets will be mailed. Ticket holders check in at the door.

Tickets can be purchased through the Friends of Greystone website. A downloadable registration form is also available.
